Day 1 I Hanoi flight Arrival at Hanoi airport. You will be met by our local guide and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Hanoi Day 2 I Hanoi city tour - overnight train to Lao Cai The tour will take you to Ho Chi Minh’s House, the lotus-shaped One Pillar Pagoda (the Chua Mot Cot). Next, you visit the Temple of Literature, founded in 1070 A.D. and a rare example of well-preserved traditional Vietnamese architecture. After lunch, you continue on to the National Museum of Fine Arts, Later, travel the way a local would — by cyclo — through the Old Quarter. Our guide and driver will pick you up in the evening and transfer you to the railway station for overnight train to Lao Cai Day 3 I Lao Cai - Sapa Arrive into Lao Cai station in the early morning where you will be met up with your personal guide to discuss your personal itinerary itinerary. Overnight in Sapa Day 4 I Sapa - Lao Cai - overnight train back to Hanoi A day in the mountains awaits you. You will have a chance to view the valleys endless rice terraces, small minority villages, forested mountains, waterfalls and stunning landscape.By late afternoon, you are transferred to the railway station for your overnight train back to Hanoi Day 5 I Hanoi - Halong Bay Arrive in Hanoi by early morning, you will be met by guide and driver Your heavenly journey across Halong Bay starts around noon on Tuan Chau Island at the doorstep of Vietnam’s most fascinating wonder. Discover some of the treasures disseminated across the Bay of the Descending Dragon during the afternoon: fascinating caves, pristine beaches, picturesque floating villages, fantastic rock formations rising up out of emerald water. Day 6 Halong Bay - Hanoi - flight to Hue Explore Halong Bay sailing across its 2000 islets and visiting some of its major highlights. Your cruise will come to an end on Tuan Chau Island between 10.30am and 11.00am and you’ll travel back to Hanoi through the striking rural countryside of the Red River Delta. Arrive in Hanoi airport, you will farewell the guide and driver, take the flight to Hue Day 7 Hue free at leisure You are free at your own leisure Day 8 Hue - Hoi An - walking tour We leave Hue this morning and head the South to Hoi An. This drive will take us over the scenic Hai Van Pass, passing the fishing village of Lang Co, as we enjoy panoramic views of the central coastline. Check in the hotel upon your arrival. Today you enjoy a walking tour of the narrow and ancient streets of this charming town. We will visit one of Hoi An’s oldest homes, built over 200 years ago and still occupied by the descendants of the merchant family that originally built it. We will also visit the traditional Hoi An Market, the Quan Cong Chinese Temple and the Japanese Covered Bridge. Day 9 Hoi An - Da Nang flight to Saigon Transfer to the airport for your flight to Saigon. Upon arrival, be transferred to your hotel in downtown for check in. The rest of day be free at your own leisure Overnight in Saigon Day 10 Saigon half day city tour Our sightseeing begins around Vietnam's largest and busiest city with a visit to the imposing Notre Dame Cathedral and continues to the Reunification Palace. Visit the Ben Thanh Market and remainder of the day at leisure Ho Chi Minh - Beach Transfer to airport for the flight to a beach destination in Thailand, Indonesia or Maldives * The length of the tour and the itinerary can be entirely customized according to your wishes |
